  • Tip #1: First off you have to acknowledge, you have to be aware. Awareness is the key right for anything that we do.
  • Tip #2: The next thing is figuring out what are your alternatives.
  • Tip #3: Mindset, that’s the main equipment you have to get in order to be able to provide everything else.
  • Start with your mindset and start with that awareness factor and then from there start shifting the things that you’re telling yourself because your brain believes everything that you tell it.

  • First, break it down, one, where do you feel most comfortable
    showing up for maybe it could be Instagram.
  • Is your audience there? You could show up on any platform and do whatever you want, but, if your audience isn’t there it’s going to be a little challenging. It doesn’t mean you can’t still show up there, but, it’s just a little more challenging.
  • Start looking at your technology a little differently and start thinking about where do you feel comfortable showing up first.
  • Start there and start playing around with the video options in that piece of say, Instagram, and then you can expand from there.

  • The beauty of the world we live in right now with the technology that we have and the way social media platforms are, you don’t have to be perfect.
  • Being able to feel comfortable in our skin and be comfortable online, in front of the camera, connecting with our audience, whether we get to see each other on a zoom meeting or we’re just speaking to the world through our social media feeds.

  • You have to look at the platforms and what platforms are we showing up on and what do they want from us and almost across the board every single platform wants video.
  • Make sure that you’re paying attention to what you want for a business where you’re showing up and what the goals are.
  • Understand what is it that you want and what is it that the platforms want from us and then start building out that next step for you. Example, can your website handle 1 million hits, if you do have views and they want your product.

  • It depends on how long it takes you to get through your content, it also depends on where’s that video going, if it’s going on TikTok, well, you could have it in a short span of a few seconds up to 10 minutes for some accounts.
  • It just depends on what that video is, what its purpose, where is it going and who is it really for.
