About Rosh Sillars:

He does a lot of work as a photographer.  So, what he did is he learned how to use the web more effectively. He became Google certified and how to write some fantastic SEO copy and really drive traffic to him.  As a result, he became known as the photographer, right, so he applied what he was learning to grow his craft. Now, he does a lot of presentations all over the world on using social media and photography and has written four books.

  • Go to Google to fix malware issues to help with ranking

  • Be careful keyword stuffing you know you don’t want to put the keyword too many keywords in there
  • Make sure your your title tag, your headlines, tell people what that page is
  • Think of it just like a newspaper, you know you have a good headline the title tag, everything below it should be focused on that topic.
  •  Make every page very focused, remember every page in your website’s a an opportunity to be found,  make sure every page is focused on a topic a single topic, sub-heads every 300 words or so.
  • Write at a 5th Grade level, keep your sentences under 20 words, very engaging

  • It can help you show up in Google images, another way to be found

  • Ask yourself, what are the questions that your customers are asking you?
  • Write that down and then decide what are  the topics are or how often could you share you know how often can you be realistic about it you know we’re talking SEO  we’re talking about being found by the search engines but if you have a really good post 300 words and you’re sharing it in social. It could very well get picked up through Facebook or Twitter and you can still gain a lot of traffic.
  • Decide what you can do what you can dedicate, be consistent, so find the the topics that you know your customers have asked  and be consistent with posts on a regular basis.
  • Don’t be afraid to re-purpose your content and update your content on a regular basis.
