  • Terry had a software background, not for writing  any code but working with software guys
  • 2.5 – Terry said…. that it wasn’t necessarily what you know or who you know it’s who knows you.!

  • Janet was known as for Facebook marketing piece
  • Janet say’s that ” Building entire sales funnels but it starts with you.
  • Know the goals of what you want to do for social media and where you want to go
  • And then figuring out which platforms work the best for that Facebook’s included in every client that I’ve ever worked with
  • Breaking that down to the Facebook marketing, Facebook advertising and then going okay what other things

*Janet worked for many jewelers and over the years and work with a lot of B2b’s then it would go over to Pinterest and Instagram also and she had been an online marketing for so long.

  • She actually had an online course to help the do-it-yourself entrepreneurs to working on a membership for so that they will get even more on an ongoing basis.
  • She is  working on a live workshop coming up and that’s specifically to Facebook marketing advertising which she started talking about at the beginning
  • She  can pretty much help with the overall scope of everything social media and email marketing and everything

08:52 –  What is the difference between Facebook marketing and Facebook advertising

  • Facebook marketing is just the overall scope of what you’re doing on Facebook like are you creating a Content calendar, have you know what types of posts are you doing to get out in front of people, the video strategy
  • Your overall strategy and what you’re doing that’s the marketing side of things
  • Janet works a lot of clients and she doesn’t do there their posts but she creates the strategy, they do the posting and then do the ads bringing the ads to it.
  • She also had a workshop the one-on-one workshop or she train in my course for a smaller company or small business owners

12:35 – What Terry’s does?

What does Terry do on  LinkedIn?

  • Terry done training and consulting and helped people with a LinkedIn strategy for years
  • He had done social media consulting for years and helped people figure out the content and the frequency matrix of that content and he had done that for a long time.
  • He also helped them what kind of posts are going to attract their audience and or to spend time in groups
  • He  does a lot of speaking and love being in front of an audience as a keynote speaker that’s all very fun and exciting
  • He gonna focus a lot of time coming up with this E-learning company.
  • They had a guest on the show one of the first shows we did together was Steve Sadler

On Terry’s words that “a creator as opposed to being a creative”!

  • Steve Sadler was an an inventor, he’s a technologist, he’s an engineer and he’s also an author.
  • He built a really cool E-learning platform and this E-learning platform was so far ahead of its time that he actually got a patent on how he collects the information for the E-learning courses that he does and develops.
  • Two  years ago he got approached by Paul Allen’s company
  • Small business that’s looking to create training for themselves, Scate Ignite is probably one of the most simple applications there is for creating, simple eLearning presentations and be distributed through the web.

…Terry said that he’s gonna leverage the relationships, he’s gonna go kick down some doors and open them up and get people on the webinars to learn about this E-learning platform.

  • As a coach and a trainer and as a business developer he can create content and he can put it out there behind a paywall and he can sell it.

The Social E-Learning Platform   

You can go and download it and you can play around with it and you there’s a free version of it that you can share train with up to five people and not pay a dime so if you get a really small company you can have trained them and not pay anything and there’s quizzes so you can actually test these folks to make sure that they got the knowledge.

  • They originally built this course authoring tool so you could actually make the courses and that was called ignite.
  • This is a great way to capture that knowledge and be able to share it on the other side of it
  • Steve was been interviewed on the past podcast Show # 17 called “The difference between being a creative and a creator”

Janet’s final word:

Social media and Facebook advertising has proven time and time again to reach the audience that is in need of your product if done right these can generate amazing amounts of reach lead leads and sales our goal is to help clients get the results they deserve and desires
