  • It is a landing page platform so you can do: thank you pages, sales pages, webinar pages, and they’re all templated and tested. It is an affiliate program, we will provide info at the end of this.

  • There is a lot of money in the podcast world, but the product needs to meet the podcast

  • He just wrote a book,  Will It Fly?
  • He talked about having the right message on the right platforms at the right time. He talks about being everywhere, but not necessarily being everywhere.!
  • Pay attention to your right audience and go there
  • Email campaign–always ask your customers, “how can I help you?”.
  • Categorizing for content

11:09 – How to identify your audience and really get clear on what platform you should be on?

  • The pillar content and the email
  • The first email campaign you should have is “what are you stuck struggling with how can I help you? – That should be the first email asking a question to your audience to invoke a response.
  • Take the email responses and then categorize for content
  • If you’re going to write content, it’s better to write one good one per month then one per week
  • Pat Flynn built his email from a blog post tutorial on podcasting that was 4,000 words – he collected 18,000 emails because of it being so incredibly deep and so good.

  • Talk a lot of community, they have fanatic community
  • He said… be their Yoda, so basically being their Yoda, means being the expert that they can go to get advice, building that community, being their Yoda.
  • Learning from your audience, then listen and craft the product around your customers

17:35 –  David Lawrence – Come on Down guy from Price is Right! He was teaching about video marketing he’s done a lot of things, he was the Puppeteer on Heroes

  • Authenticity is key
  • He talked about smiling while doing a podcast

  1.  don’t yell
  2.  lower voice
  3.  smile, don’t read from a script, imperfection is accepted
  4. talk with the audience as one

    • He talked about bullet pointing not scripts
  • Do not be square towards the camera, he called it the backbone plane of the camera
  • He said it’s very important to look off camera sometimes,  it makes you more authentic if you look off the camera once a while.
  • Be interested – He said you’ll be interesting if you’re interested in what you’re talking about

  • It’s a social media platform for posting to your social media platforms
  • Request an invite.  Good point, instead of just saying; here you can have my product.
  • She gets the most conversion from her home page. She said if there’s no way to convert them to something on your homepage, you’re missing the boat.
  • Collecting emails from your homepage is an absolute must.
  • They have very specific things that they do to grow their business and she knew exactly what she did not do
  • They do not put on their own webinars.  Here are the things that they do.   They do blogging, email campaigns, and they are guests on podcasts, but she does not have her own podcast.
  • She is a guest on 10-20 podcasts per month
  • Define an end goal, work back from it. Do a spreadsheet on all the things you’re doing, what you need to stop doing.

29:56- Amanda Homes  – CEO at Chet Holmes International

  • She talked about doing things that you’re really good at and repeating them over and over, because repetition is the mother of all skills.
  • She also talked about content offers the problem solutions, trying to get to the 97%, you’re only really getting to the three percent of your marketplace.
  • She said adding a coach can increase your productivity by 88 %.
